Sarah Nicholson - Head Girl
Sarah and her husband Alec have been in racing for most of their working lives.
Notable trainers Sarah has worked for include David Elsworth, Guy Harwood and Michael Bell.
Leighton Aspell - Jockey
Leighton is a superb horseman and he has been a key player in making, schooling and preparing our horses.
He has been our jockey from day one and there is nobody riding with more commitment and intelligence.
Charlotte joined us in 2009 having been head girl with George Margarson. Her father was a jump jockey and she herself has ridden successfully in the eventing field.
Cornelia recently came to us in May after finishing the Racing school. This is her first job in racing after finishing as a welder at an Oil Refinery.
Cornelia has ridden most of her life, riding various types of horses over the years and hopes to get her licence out to ride on the National Hunt scene.
Megan joined us at the beginning of March this year after finishing her course at the British Racing School. This is her first job in racing and she hopes to learn all about going racing and the travelling involved. Megan studied equine management and care at college before her course at the Racing School.
Maxime is an accomplished rider, having previously worked for French trainer Yann Barberot. We are delighted to give him his first job in British racing. Maxime is now our Conditional Jockey and is doing well!
Glen has joined us for the second time after a short stint at Godolphin. He is great at riding the Fillies that we train here and his favourite is 3 year old Gallifrey whom he rides every day.
Ray McGhin - Work Rider
Ray is a former professional jockey on the flat and is a great asset riding work, particularly with the flat horses.
There are few people in racing with greater experience and knowledge.
Lynne, Ray’s wife, keeps the books and deals with the general office administration.
She has been racing secretary to, amongst others, William Huntingdon, Neil Graham and Mark Tompkins.
Tom joined us from the British Racing School in May. He has ridden ponies growing up and he seems to be enjoying his first job in racing.
Emad is origionally from Egypt and joined us in July 2016. He is currently learning the ropes as our new yard man.
Emily is a paediatric nurse in a neonatal transitional care ward. She comes in a few mornings a week to ride out when her job allows. She has previously worked for some big names in racing including Charlie Swann, Willie Mullins and Paul Nicholls.
Kerry has recently come back for the jump season after her summer at Chris Walls. She's great at riding and looking after the fillies that we have at the yard. She is experienced at travelling the horses to and from the races so is a great asset to us.
Liam has been with us since early 2018, he comes in to ride every morning and has been in racing for the past 5 years. Liam has worked for various trainers and has his Point-to-Point licence too. His favourite mare to ride is Banjo Girl!
India is Lucy's youngest daughter. She comes in to ride out at weekends and whenever her teaching allows.
Stuart Williamson -Vet
Stuart has been with us for a year or so now, he has taken over from Huw Neal to be one of our main Vets. He is an asset to our team here at Moulton Paddocks.
Huw Neal - Vet
Huw has been our vet since we started our point-to-point yard in Chevington in the mid 1980s.
He is a partner in NEH and a crucial member of our team.
Will O’Shaughnessy – Farrier
Will is one of the busiest farriers in Newmarket working for many of the top yards.
He and his team are vital to the yard and he has won numerous farriery awards both nationally and internationally.
The most important member of the team – at least he likes to think so!
Paddy’s daughter and partner-in-crime
